Sinopsis

At the end of the decade of the thirties, a small group of men rejects the ammnesty offer and continues to fight againts the religious persecutions and for freedom of worship. It is the corageous tale of these soldiers of Christ, who are fighting with no food or amunitions, in the middle of a desert and wild landscape.

Matías Meyer

France, 1979. In 1999 he enrolled at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica where he would later graduate as a filmmaker in 2006 with his dissertation short film Verde, which was selected to compete at the Clermont Ferrand Festival. In 2004 he won the best short film award at the Morelia Film Festival with his short film, El pasajero, that also won at Biarritz, 2005. El calambre was shown at Rotterdam Film Festival.

Sinopsis

A fines de los años treinta, un pequeño grupo de hombres rechaza la amnistía y continúa su lucha contra la persecución religiosa y por la libertad de culto. Esta es la valiente historia de estos soldados de Cristo, que llevan su lucha sin comida ni municiones, en medio de un paisaje árido y agreste.
